When I was thirteen, I started a fashion blog called “A Rose and Her Clothes.”
I guess you could say that was the beginning of my published creative work, although the dream to write was birthed in me many years before.
Growing up, I always had a journal and pen in hand, and there was a good chance I held a book in the other. I’ve been obsessed with words, stories, and making meaning of things since I can remember. It’s just how God made me.
Over the years, I’ve had multiple blogs and creative outlets with one goal: to create a space to share my passion, creativity, and love for writing—and most of all, Jesus.
The most recent project has been Wildly Well. Its primary form of content has been a podcast. While I’ve always felt called to speak and have enjoyed dabbling with this new medium, I’ve been itching to get back to my true love: writing. I’ve been craving to get back to my roots and use the OG gift God gave me.
So I come to you today, humbled, eager, and bursting-at-the-seams-excited to share that that’s exactly what I’m doing. This little corner of the ether called Wildly Well will be the channel through which I write and share thoughts, essays, encouragement, recipes (I’m so pumped for this!), and whatever else the Lord prompts me to publish.
Originally, Wildly Well was focused on chronic health journeys and built for women who navigated mystery medical conditions. While I still have a heart for that topic and those of us who walk that road, I don’t want that to be the only thing I write or talk about. I want this to be a vibrant, lively community for gals who want to grow and be well—whatever that looks for them.
With a focus on our bodies, minds, souls, and creativity, this is a place for all things wellness—because our well-being encompasses so much more than our physical health.
Looking back, I can see how each of my previous projects has built a solid foundation that’s gotten me to this point. Rather than feel shame or failure that my projects haven’t lasted a lifetime, I feel so tenderly and intimately held in the hand of the Father, knowing He is growing and evolving me day by day. He has crafted a magnificent story and woven all my days together for such a time as this.
As I’ve been working and writing and preparing for this relaunch, if you will, I’ve never felt so alive. Awake. Inspired. Free. I can’t help but feel this is the path God has always had for me and that there are boatloads of abundance and joy in store when we use the good gifts He’s given us.
So welcome to the revamped Wildly Well. I’ve got a stockpile of words ready for you that I can’t wait to share. Here’s to old dreams, new adventures, and the mysterious, marvelous ways the Lord weaves it all together for our good and His glory. I’m so grateful you’re here.
