With so much talk about new beginnings this time of year, I wanted to share a few words the Lord put on my heart recently. 

They are not profound or magical. 

But that, I believe, is what makes them powerful. 

These words are for you, and they’re most certainly for me.

May we all have the courage to begin. xo

Sometimes you just have to start.

Just have to pick up the pen, 

Open the book,

Preheat the oven, 

Slip on your shoe, 

Dial the number, 

Pray the prayer, 

Make the appointment, 

Make a list, 

Say no to distractions, 

Say yes to the invitation, 

Gather the ingredients, 

Gather your gals, 

Send the text, 

Initiate the plan, 

Show up to the first class,

Publish the article,

Count your blessings,

Repeat.

There’s a lot we can’t do.

But there’s even more we can.
